VEXIX ERP Accounting, GST and Inventory Features
Explore implemented desktop workflows and clearly identified limitations. Edition availability is listed separately on the Compare page, so product capability is never confused with commercial access.
For the wider workflow, see the product overview. Purchase management, stock tools and reporting availability depend on the edition and the limitations stated below.
Accounting
Balanced vouchers connect masters, outstanding balances and financial reports.
Accounting masters
Groups, ledgers, customers and suppliers form the chart of accounts.
Voucher entry
Sales, Purchase, Receipt, Payment, Contra, Journal, Credit Note and Debit Note use the double-entry engine.
Outstanding tracking
Bill-wise Receivables and Payables show open amounts and ageing.
Financial-year controls
Create, close and reopen years and use an accounting lock date where authorized.
Inventory
Track quantities and movement by item and location; advanced tools depend on edition.
Items, units and godowns
Maintain item masters and track stock quantities by location.
Batch, expiry and reorder
Review supported batch tracking, expiry, ageing and reorder information.
Price lists and barcode/POS
Use price suggestions, barcode lookup and a fast-sale screen on supported editions.
Valuation and basic manufacturing
Use FIFO or Weighted Average valuation. BOM manufacturing excludes labour, overhead and scrap allocation.
GST
Prepare local GST working and reconciliation — not direct government portal filing.
GST transaction details
Use GSTIN, HSN/SAC, place-of-supply and CGST/SGST/IGST information.
Registers and summaries
Review sales, purchase, HSN/SAC and GST liability working reports.
Return working
Prepare GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B working and reconcile supported purchase data with GSTR-2B.
e-Invoice & e-Way Bill
e-Invoice and e-Way Bill require a production provider contract, credentials and authorization.
Ecommerce & Marketplace Accounting
Bring supported marketplace reports into VEXIX ERP instead of entering every sale by hand.
Direct Amazon MTR Import
Import an Amazon Merchant Tax Report (B2B or B2C, Shipment/Refund rows) directly into VEXIX ERP — no separate service required. Available with VEXIX ERP Premium.
Flipkart report import & item mapping
Import a Flipkart order export file and map marketplace SKUs to your own items, available on Premium and Premium Cloud.
Import review & validation
Review parsed rows, resolve unmapped items and see counts of posted, skipped and failed rows before anything is committed.
Import history
Each import is recorded per company so you can see what was imported and when.
Accounting posting
Imported marketplace sales and returns post as ordinary Sales and Credit Note vouchers in your existing books.
No live marketplace sync
Import works from report files you download yourself — VEXIX ERP does not currently connect live to Amazon or Flipkart.
Reporting
Inspect financial and operational results generated from posted company data.
Financial statements
Generate Trial Balance, Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet reports.
Operational reports
Use Day Book, Ledger, stock, outstanding, ageing and cost-centre reports.
Bank reconciliation
Match bank-ledger entries manually or review supported CSV statement matches.
MIS and analysis
Review sales, purchase, profitability and ratio views.
Data, Backup & Security
Move, protect and audit local data with clearly stated limitations.
CSV import
Import supported masters, opening information and vouchers with mapping and validation.
Tally XML
Import supported data and generate structurally verified XML; live TallyPrime compatibility is not guaranteed.
Backup and company transfer
Create and restore backups. Portable company packages are not encrypted.
Users and audit
Local users, roles and audit controls are available, with advanced access controls continuing to evolve.
