Website data

Visiting this website may generate standard web server logs (e.g. IP address, browser type, requested page) used only for operating and securing the site. No advertising trackers or analytics pixels are active by default — see our Security page for more.

Contact and support ticket data

The contact form on this site submits your details to our support system, which creates a support ticket and records the name, business name (if given), email, phone (if given), category, subject and message you provide, along with the conversation history as our team responds.

If you are signed in to your customer account when you submit the form, your ticket is linked to that account using your authenticated session — never a value you could type into the form yourself. Submitting a support request does not itself create a customer account.

We send an email acknowledgement and any support replies from VEXIX Support (support@vexix.in) to the email address on the ticket. Do not send passwords, verification links or licence secrets in a support message.

Customer accounts and business profile

When you register, the customer service processes your email address and a securely hashed form of your password. Your account and licence entitlement are linked to your email address, and the service records whether that address has been verified. Your password is not stored in readable form.

Registration also collects business/commercial details used to identify your account and, where supplied, prepare business documents: full name, mobile number, business or firm name, billing address (address line 1, optional address line 2, city, state, PIN code, country), and an optional GSTIN. GSTIN is never validated against, or submitted to, any government GST system — only its format is checked.

Login creates a time-limited, secure HttpOnly customer-session cookie on the licensing service. A CSRF value protects authenticated requests. The website keeps that value in page memory rather than browser local storage.

Email verification and password reset

Registration, verification resends and password recovery may generate expiring, one-time links sent to the account email address. The service stores hashed forms of verification and reset tokens. A successful password reset invalidates existing customer sessions and outstanding account tokens.

Licensing data

Trial and licence operations use limited information including the normalized account email, a locally generated device identifier, product and edition information, licence identifiers where applicable, entitlement status, and activation or validation records. This information is used to check eligibility, enforce licence and device limits, and return signed entitlements.

Starting a trial requires an authenticated customer with a verified email. Registration and email verification do not start a trial.

The licensing server does not need, and does not request, the contents of your accounting database — no vouchers, ledgers, or business financial data are uploaded as part of licensing.

Desktop application data

VEXIX ERP is built on a local-first, offline-first architecture — your accounting data (vouchers, ledgers, masters, reports) is stored locally on your own PC by default and is not uploaded to us as part of normal use.

Premium Cloud is Coming Soon and its cloud capabilities are not currently production-enabled.

Data we do not collect

We do not sell personal data. We do not collect your accounting records as part of licensing. We do not add third-party advertising trackers to this website without explicit future notice.

Registration and support requests do not ask for, and this site does not knowingly collect, Aadhaar numbers, PAN, bank account details or card data.

Retention and deletion requests

We keep only information reasonably required for the current account, licensing, security and support functions. Licence and security records may be retained as reasonably required to validate purchased entitlements, prevent abuse, meet security needs and comply with legal obligations.

You may request deletion of eligible account or support information by contacting support@vexix.in. Necessary entitlement, security and legal records may be retained despite a deletion request where reasonably required for those purposes.

Analytics and cookies

The website does not currently use analytics or non-essential tracking cookies, so no cookie-consent banner is currently required for those technologies. This policy will be updated if that changes.

Security and your choices

The website and licensing service use HTTPS. Account sessions, one-time tokens and signed licensing entitlements provide safeguards appropriate to their roles, but no system can promise absolute security.
