Back up first
Take a fresh backup of your existing accounting data before starting any import, so your current records are never at risk.
VEXIX ERP supports Tally XML import and export for interoperability, plus company backup, restore and transfer tools — so you can bring existing accounting data across in a reviewable, step-by-step way.
VEXIX ERP is independent, standalone accounting software with its own accounting engine — it supports Tally XML as an interoperability format for import and export, not a one-click or automatic replacement of another product. Reviewing imported data before you rely on it is part of a safe migration, not an extra step to work around.

Take a fresh backup of your existing accounting data before starting any import, so your current records are never at risk.
Export the masters and vouchers you intend to bring into VEXIX ERP as Tally XML from your current system.
Use VEXIX ERP's supported Tally XML import for masters and vouchers on Advanced and Premium editions.
Check imported ledgers, items and opening balances against your source records before continuing daily entries.
Once imported data is reviewed, carry on recording new vouchers directly in VEXIX ERP.
VEXIX ERP can import supported Tally XML masters and vouchers, and generate a structurally validated Tally XML export for interoperability with other systems. Live compatibility has not been certified against every TallyPrime workflow, so review imported and exported data before relying on it.
See Tally interoperability features →VEXIX ERP includes local backup and restore tools, and a portable company export/import for moving a single company between installations. Take a backup before any import, and keep restoring from that backup available as a fallback throughout your migration.
Review backup and data handling →Use the 30-day trial to import a sample of your data and review it before switching over fully.
